Central Montréal ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and protect the personal information of visitors and customers.

We collect information in a few different ways, depending on how you interact with the Site:

3How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Process and fulfill your orders, including shipping, billing, and customer support;
- Send transactional emails, such as order confirmations and shipping updates;
- Send marketing emails if you've subscribed to our newsletter, including new product announcements. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send;
- Respond to questions submitted through our contact form;
- Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or security issues;
- Improve our Site, products, and overall customer experience; and
- Comply with legal obligations.
4How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with:
- Service providers who help us operate the Site and fulfill orders. For example, Stripe for payment processing, our web hosting provider, and any shipping carriers used to deliver your order;
- Legal authorities, if required to comply with a legal obligation, court order, or to protect our rights, property, or safety, or that of our customers; and
- A successor entity, in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case we'll notify you before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
5Cookies & Similar Technologies
Our Site uses cookies and similar technologies (such as your session, stored in a cookie) to keep you logged into your cart between page visits and to help the Site function correctly. We may also use analytics tools to understand how visitors use the Site in aggregate.
Most browsers let you control or disable cookies through their settings. Note that disabling cookies may affect certain features of the Site, such as your shopping cart persisting between visits.
6Payment Information
All payments are processed directly by Stripe, a PCI-DSS compliant payment processor. Your card details are entered into Stripe's secure interface and transmitted directly to Stripe. They never pass through our servers. We only receive confirmation that a payment succeeded, along with limited transaction metadata needed to fulfill your order.

7Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy. Including maintaining order records for accounting, tax, and warranty/returns purposes and as required by applicable law. If you unsubscribe from our newsletter, we retain your email address only to record your opt-out preference and prevent re-adding you without consent.
8Your Rights & Choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal information, which can include the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you;
- Request correction of inaccurate information;
- Request deletion of your information, subject to legal or legitimate business retention needs (e.g., completed order records);
- Withdraw consent for marketing communications at any time; and
- Object to or restrict certain uses of your information.

10Children's Privacy
The Site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 13 (or the applicable age of digital consent in your jurisdiction). If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal or regulatory reasons. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
